FAQ
Find answers to the questions you may have before your visit
Can I bring my dog?
Yes, dogs are welcome at La Verrerie de Biot. We simply ask that they remain on a lead in the galleries and the ecomuseum for everyone's safety.
Is it wheelchair accessible?
Yes the site is fully wheelchair accessible.
Is there on-site parking?
Yes, 500 spaces for cars and buses. Parking is free for the first 30 minutes, then €0.50/h.
In addition, parking is free with any purchase of €6 or more. This ensures spaces remain available and secure for our visitors and prevents misuse. Admission remains free.
What are the entry fees?
Admission is free and self-guided. You can watch the glassmakers at work every day during the Glassworks' opening hours.
Do you offer guided tours for groups?
Yes. Please contact us at verrerie@verreriebiot.com for more information and private group bookings.
My glass is broken — can I bring it in for repair?
We do not offer repairs — our pieces are formed while the glass is molten and we cannot reassemble pieces once the product has cooled and been finished.
Can I put hot liquids in your glassware?
No. Our glass is sensitive to thermal shock and is not designed for hot liquids.
Can I put your products in the dishwasher?
For glass and ceramics, yes — but the detergent used must be non-corrosive.
For the acrylic pool range, use the top rack and a low temperature. We do, however, recommend hand washing to preserve its beauty over time.
Do I need to book a glassblowing workshop?
No booking is required.
Duration: approx. 20 min
Price: €68 per person for the blowing session and pickup of your piece can be collected from 5 p.m. the following day (or from Tuesday 5 p.m. for weekend sessions).
